Parent/Teacher Conferences

We attended parent/teacher conferences. Samantha's teacher was happy to announce that she was granted "the gift of time". Since Samantha's birthday is in September she will miss the cut-off for kindergarten by 14 days... I don't think this is going to go over well with Miss Samantha, as she is insistent that once she turns 5 she will go to the "big kid" school, like Allison. John and I did hear wonderful things about Samantha. She shows empathy for children, plays with everyone and has no problem standing up for herself. She is the first one to befriend a new student and make them feel special. She is very creative and imaginative, and always volunteers to help out. I left feeling very proud of my little girl - great job Sam!
